Who are all these people who gave up their Sunday to help a young boy battling illness and help his family too? Perhaps too many to name, but as has been stated on a page on this site describing the event, there were at least 60 children of all ages working furiously to keep the line of cars waiting to a minimum. 15 Applebee's employees voluntarily gave up their day off to wash cars in the heat. Funny how I was talking in the parking lot to a fellow working the Car Wash and he told me he was an Applebee's employee. At first I didn't want to mention here that Applebee's employees were helping out fearing they might get in trouble if they were doing so during their shift.
